		<description><![CDATA[<P><SPAN id=post_message_></P><P style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana; COLOR: black; FONT-SIZE: 9pt">On the 28<SUP>th</SUP> April the EBF met with the Budgerigar Society General Council following their invitation to present the forum to them, The EBF were represented by Mick Freakley and<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Simon Divaney, the presentation appeared to be well received and once completed they left the GC to continue their meeting. EBF are hoping for a positive outcome.</SPAN></P><P style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana; COLOR: black; FONT-SIZE: 9pt">Mick Freakley received a phone call from the BS Chairman George Booth informing him that following the General Councils discussion re the EBF, they voted unanimously to become involved with the EBF and are arranging this coming week to have EBF banner attached to the home page of the BS website. The EBF are asked to create a section called The Budgerigar Society section and the BS will use this section as they see fit. <BR><BR>I am very pleased to announce that the EBF can now form a cooperative relationship of mutual benefit with the Governing body for the betterment of our hobby in general. Our proposal is to revert back to what it used to be. 		<description><![CDATA[<FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Thanks for the welcome.......</FONT><br><br>However, I was here a long time ago, in fact it is over 30 years since I kept any birds.<br><br>I have the distinction (with Ron Simpson) of sleeping with over 1,000 birds over two nights. Oh, I must clarify that, it was when the BS Club Show was held at Grandby Halls in Leicester and we were acting as part of the security. Good memories.<br><br>I went out of the fancy after losing my young son in a car accident in 1981 and it has taken me all this time to get back to what I really love, or I will be back once the new shed arrives and all the bits and pieces I have accumulating over the last few months are out in place. <br><br>Then I will be bird hunting!!<br><br>It is a shame that not many fanciers use this forum, but being Chairman of the West Yorkshire Fuchsia Society I know how difficult it can be to get members involved.<br>]]></description>
